Present-day Circle of Poets

The Circle of Poets of Trinidad and Tobago has since been incorporated as a non-profit organization committed to bringing about a national awareness and appreciation for poetry as an artform by encouraging persons to develop their talents and writing skill. Meeting twice monthly at City Hall, Port of Spain, the Circle of Poets is perhaps one of a very limited number of poetry groups that members and guests can attend a meeting. At meetings poetry is read, listened to and workshops conducted. The Circle of Poets continues to keep Poetry Day observances and show case its members’ poetry; including, but not limited to the publishing of members’ works.
