Members of the Poet Laureate Programme Committee visited St. Stephen's College, Prince's Town to kick off their Literary week with Poetry. Students were treated to spoken word /poetry performances by committee lead, Hadiya Phillips-Evelyn and committee member Chantelle Anthony. Circle of Poets Chairman Nicholas Sosa also shared his poetry with the students and spoke to them on the theme of the literary week, "Let's Imagine" in the context of looking at poetry, writing their own poems and how it has a direct co-relation on their outlook on life. He urged students "not to be ordinary, but look at how twisting one's perspective (through one's imagination) may lead to discovering solutions to issues in your personal lives; your school, your community and even our nation."
